Hi All

Have installed a twin wall through my slate roof which connects to the top of the old stack in the attic. (Its then connected to a flexi liner etc etc).

Problem is, when the roofer put the pipe through the slate flashing, he didnt leave enough clearance from the pipe to combustibles.

There is a single baton about 25mm away and the instructions say 50mm.
Is there anything I can do to treat the wood (or wrap around the flue) just want to avoid taking the slate/flashing back off!!!

Hope someone can help,

Cheers

if it is of use, the figure you have found as being the minimum distance can be taken from the inner wall of the flue. ;)

Realy?
If thats the case, it will be fine then. Was thinking of screwing some fire board to the baton just in case!

Cheers
