Doing some work (not electric) in my Daughters house which involved lifting the floor. I noticed that there was a 2.5mm T&E spur coming from a double socket on the ring main which goes to a 13 amp FCU, from the FCU to two double sockets, from the second socket to another switched FCU which has a 3 amp fuse and supplies the combi boiler with what looks like a 1mm flex. I've attached a diagram.
From researching the forum I can see that you can run several spurs from a 13 amp FCU and I'm guessing that adding the boiler FCU is ok, it does look like it has been done by a spark as it's very neat and cable clipped under the floor etc. I know that it's been added to the ring as the house has old wiring and this is new colour cable.
The sockets will only be used occasionalIy for small appliances like laptop, phone chargers etc so not much of a draw; I just wanted to check to make sure that this set up is ok.

The first FCU limits the down stream load of the following sockets and fused spurs.

That is how it should be done
