Sorry for the late follow up - I have only just had time to look.
I did as suggested in the loo - shut down the lockshield and TRV valves then checked for flow. Both feed and return gave a reasonable flow. Refitted valves, refilled the rad and bingo we have heat! TRV seems to be OK
Tried the same on the hall. Good flow from the wheelhead valve so I presume this is feed but the lockshield was more of a dribble. I guess a blockage or an air lock somewhere else? Is there anything I can try? No heat from the hall rad
