****ty life

Kool. I haven't read it all so cant say too much.
I have this thing in life that I must bore people with..

You have to look after Number 1. Thats you!
If you dont look after number 1. Then you you cant look after number 2.

An air stewardess told me that in a round about way. Every time I sit on a plane ready to tske off another will tell me the same thing.

A happy healthy Dad will make your girl alot happier.

So happy there's so much good on this Forum.

Well done everyone, I love kindness and Ive seen plenty of it here. X

I agree my friend, I do. I am trying. Got to sort out my housing situation asap. That is work in progress as waiting for responses from others at the moment....

Cheers...

I agree. I would be the same. My daughter is more to me than anything.
My girls are my world . Ive ****ed up massively in life and ill health hasn't put me in a great financial way for the future. I haven't given up and I wont. But im so much with you in that everything I do is for my girls.

You having a comfortable place to sleep and relax is essential. I love this forum as there is alway someone to help.

I think your great for opening up. Its sometimes a little bit easier to let out when we dont know people. Not alway easy to reach to those that we know.

Nice one my friend. Glad we both on the same page. Having a child truly brings meaning to life. Me and my girl are extremely close.

After work today, I am taking her and her boyfriend to Tenby for the afternoon. I love treating her. Her mother and I when going through divorce, never had any issues regarding who sees her etc etc. I can see my girl anytime at all. I contribute to her upkeep and am always buying her things etc...that, is all done with pure love. My ex has been awesome. We both agree that our daughter comes first.

Thank you Elsa

Yes, I agree. It can be hard opening up. Not easy. Everyone on here is great. We all have good banter. I may take the pee with some or wind them up (Britishophobic) but it's done without any malice. Just having a laugh really. I mean nobody any harm at all.

I think we are all grown up enough to take some stick etc. From me, it's all just forum humour. No harm meant.

I been offered my own flat by the council......

It's in sheltered accomodation. Warden on duty. 1 bed flat.

Needs decorating and fitting out as completely empty. No curtain poles, nothing. Only new carpets fitted throughout.

It's approx an 18 mile round trip to work and back.

Heating and water rates included in price.....

I am scared as not affordable with just my wages but doable if I use some savings. If I gave up work I would have to pay via my savings. 5 years until I retire.

I am anxious now. Trying to decide.

I been living in shared houses for over 8 years!!!

I would need to buy everything for the flat. Of which, I got the money to do so. I just so scared of it all.....

Sorry, I suffer with anxiety etc.....

I would accept the flat mate, you will make it work for you I am sure. You have more security with a council flat than in private shared accomodation. Even if you lost your job the rent would be covered in benefits. One less worry?

Grab it, what's to think about?

Look for another job, nearer to where you will live - it's no fun and expensive, unpaid commuting.

Lots of charities will help out with the basics, to get you going, then buy what you need on top.

That's brilliant news, grab it.
Fitting it out with what you need can be done over time.
Basic essentials are cheap enough from asda
9 miles to work is not that far.
