Hi everyone,
I am getting my bathroom refitted and was wondering if I would be able to utilise some existing wiring that was put in for an electric shower that I didn’t want fitted?
The feed is directly from a 32A MCB in my consumer unit and the cables run to the exact area of the bathroom that I would fit the cabinet, so it seems sensible to utilise it!
There is a ceiling pull-switch as I enter the room…but I was thinking that it could be removed and linked out so the ceiling hole could be patched (alternatively, if safer it could be left working). I imagine the MCB would too have to be down rated?
does this sound doable?
cheers
