I thought I would have it 2400 high on the low side, and calculate the wall-side of it according to recommended slope.
I am told that for polycarb, I should give it a 10° slope, which over a 2400 width gives (near enough) 450 rise, so the wall plate should be 2850 high, which seems rather a lot.
(in old money, 8ft posts at low side, 8ft width, 18" rise at 10°, high side 9ft 6)
Am I making it too high? Should I make it 8ft on the high side and 6ft 6 on the low side?
I currently have only a car, but had a vague idea I might want to put a transit or caravan under it one day, though this is frankly unlikely.
