Long ago I had tried most of the 'fashionable' (non steel braced) tyres - had a fair few punctures.
Owned a cooper 'S' which could smoke the tyres, several dunlop plugs used - never had a problem. I tested these through proper use, not theorising.
Someone said they are now not legal ? If so then they were just too good !!
