Tyre Rotation, any point?

Tyres have been corrected.

Apparently the fitter was dismissive that it would make any discernable difference.

But, at least they corrected it without argument.

I have only bothered with one car to swap tyres, this was because sensors detected wheel speed, normally front wheels go same or faster to rear wheels, so if this is not the case, it assumes loss of traction and auto switches in all-wheel drive.

So most worn tyres had to go on the front axle, to stop the four-wheel drive kicking in, but since normally rear-wheel drive, the rear tyres wore more than front, so wheels did need rotating, but not bothered with any other car.
