the Tory govt actively want a US deal, they dont care how bad -they have a great of money to make out of it.
Johnson will tell the public what a great deal they are negotiating whilst throwing the NHS and farmers under a bus.

One of the main aims of people who really want the EU fully integrated and the reason for some of their aims is to get everyone from under the thumb of the USA. The EU already damages their trade balance - you think we will? I believe we do a bit but forget it given a trade deal. They'll want to come out on top.

People mentioned Blare - the Tory leader at the time agreed 100% with what he did. They have way too much power from the USD and the reasons for that are no longer really valid. Mind you they probably still have more gold than anyone else.

What's the point in leaving the EU then?

Trouble with Frankenfood is it's mostly designed to take more weedkiller or insecticide and developed by the people who sell the stuff. Just what we need when the latest greatest weedkiller is detectable in breast milk and body fat. It's not the first time they have found that going on with others, They even use it now when it's not needed for the usual reason but still gives a better yield.

Given time they will come up with plants we are supposed to eat that kill insects when they eat them.

Canada and Australia are among the other countries that chlorinate chicken, Canada chlorinates beef as well. It happens in many other countries as a cheap and effective way of preventing salmonella among other things. Chlorine levels can vary, in most countries the chlorine levels are about the same as in tap water.
The EU are on record as stating they have no safety concerns re chlorinated chicken, the reason they have banned US chicken is over animal welfare concerns, the number of chickens kept in cages etc, overcrowding etc which can lead to less sanitary conditions, chlorinating resolves the sanitary concerns, the viewpoint of the EU is that if the birds are in less crowded conditions, chlorinating is not required, although salmonella is on the increase in Europe.
