You say that "We know that they wasn't built by aliens though" You are stating that as a fact, can you disprove the alien theory then?

Yes, but the same can be said of Stonehenge, or vitrified forts although nobody suggests aliens are responsible. New technologies supersede the old and those techniques are quickly forgotten as their artisans die and new generations adopt new techniques for solving construction problems.
