Travelling across our milky way galaxy is estimated at 100,000 years at the speed of light! The observable universe is judged to be 46 BILLION light years across.If some alien species has managed to harness faster than light speed they wouldn't bother visiting a place such as ours as we would be classed as lesser than insects.We cannot fathom the huge distances between galaxies our nearest Andromeda is over 2 million light years away.We are millions of years away from travelling these distances that's if the human race survives that long.
