All the research shows that the UK leaving the Dublin agreement is a factor in illegal immigrants coming here. Together with us leaving the fingerprint database which used to allow us to track their journey to the UK.

I merely stated the fact that the leave campaign specifically said that the UK and member states of the EU were controlled by Brussels.

In fact one of their slogans was 'take back control' of borders and immigration...

Compliance was very low, there were limited consequences for refusing take backs and the system failed because of Freedom of movement.

Maybe they should have thought about that.
