What do you think might be the correct explanation?
I don't know. Either things are not as bad as being made out? Zelensky can't command control over Ukranian corporate power? Corruption?

Every single one of those Ukranian men should be helping their country's war effort, not building holiday hotels. That can wait until the war is over.

I've just found this article which sheds a bit more light.

'It is anticipated that the whole project will take 15 years to complete, and OKKO will invest $500 million directly, while the remaining $1 billion is intended to be sourced from institutional investors, including Goldman Sachs, BlackRock, and Vanguard.'

War is profitable for the vultures.

It's just a fact, they won't do it for no return.

The US creates the problem so they can provide the solution. I hope Trump cleans the USA up because it has been a blight. They've regime changed at least 8 countries, fecking up their internal order and democracy because they can. Scum.

So why would they go back there on holiday if its so bad
Most Ukrainian refugees came from the Donbas region, their cities have been reduced to rubble and the region is occupied by Russians.

The Western side near Lviv and across to Kyiv is fine to visit though

An intelligent person would be able to work it out

Which countries?

As usual to talk in vague terms without detail

Whilst Russia is bombing the hell out of Ukraine, do you honestly think it will ever become a tourist destination?
You don’t seem to realise life in Lviv, Kyiv etc is pretty normal…..cafes and restaurants are open, people go out to socialise.

People go there now on holiday
