Hi, Im after some advice. I have recently had my walls and ceiling re-plastered and the plasterer used undiluted PVA. I have since read that it should have been diluted 1:5. Can you tell me if that could cause future problems please?

The dilution solution would depend on the surface type and condition being plastered to, different manufacturers will have different ratios of dilution.
What makes you think that PVA was applied neat, I have in the past pre-mixed solutions in the tubs, as it makes it easy to mix by shaking.

Thanks for your reply. I was here when he applied the PVA (i bought the pva so i know it wasnt diluted beforehand), he poured it into a paint tray and applied it with a roller. The surface that it was applied to and later plastered was plaster boards on the ceiling and painted walls (emulsion).

Well there is no need to prime plasterboard (but will not do any harm) as it will not do the painted walls any harm either But seems a waste not to dilute it!
