Unfamiliar wiring connections on external siren

Hi, I'm trying to wire a Honeywell Accenta/Optima BSP399A alarm. All is going well, however the wiring diagram shows "-ve tamper return", "-ve supply", "+ve supply", "-ve sounder trigger", and "STR". The external siren box I have has terminals "-ST", "-R", "-SW", "+V", "-V".
Can anyone decode this for this novice whose feeling like he's just fried his brain.

-V = -ve supply
-R = -ve tamper return
-ST = STR
-SW = -ve sounder trigger
