Unfortunate Juxtaposition II

I can't see Dr Drivels posts

I can,,, haven't put him on ignore as I find his rants quite amusing. Specially when he's belittling others in a condescending and abusive way, in one sentence, then complaining about abuse in the next.. RH is an enigma for sure.
You obviously don't see the difference bwtween criticising and denigrating indivdual posters for their abuse towards nameless goups, and that racial/religious/homophobic abuse towards groups of people who aren't here to defend themselves. And if that earns me some childish name-calling in the process, it shows that my criticisms are finding their targets.

For some reason my ignore button doesn't work

Maybe you're not logged on at the time, the ignore feature understandably only works when you are logged on.

No, I am always logged on and it says in my settings that he is on ignore and gives the option to undo it, but I still see the posts. :?:

Try logging out, then back in, see if that helps.

thanks but tried that.
Just think of the advanatages. You can make your spurious and invidious accusations AND you can see my ridicule of your accusations.

Is this a sign of the times thanks to idots and do gooders, promoting and inciting violence.

Certain areas of London, have long been no-go zones for non muslims.

Disgusting, but true.

I don't know, but I do know that they have stated publicly that their ultimate intention is to introduce sharia law and it is quite probable that, given the chance, they would take over the country as part of their dream of world domination.

The frightening thing is that the powers that be are doing all they can to help them.

The future will, if nothing else, be very interesting.

Inside who?

Oh, I see!

I thought your picture was a response to the last post.

That should have been titled Unfortunate Juxtaposition III!

Yeah , but it's not a dream. The ultimate goal of world domination is the fundamental part of their teachings. It's happening.

The purpose of the EU was to bind the nations of Western Europe together so that they would stop having wars with each other in every generation. This has been successful.

The purpose of NATO was to deter the Soviet Union encroaching by military power into Western Europe.

That purpose has been obsolete for 23 years.

However now that Putin wishes to rebuild the Soviet Union, to annexe places where some people live who speak Russian, and reclaim places that once were dominions of Russia or the old Soviet Union, it is regrettably becoming necessary again.
How do you know that Putin wants to rebuild the Soviet Union, it could be that Russia sees Nato as the new Nazis.
Hitler also had his own version of Nato, a lot of these Eastern European countries who are now members of Nato were enthusiastic supporters of Hitler and joined him in his genocide of millions of Russians.
Ukraine is an artificial state, it has had different borders at different periods of history, so why don't they redraw the borders with Russia and let those who want to be Russian join Russia and those who want to be Ukranian stay with Ukraine.
It wasn't the Russians who overthrew the democratically elected Government of Ukraine and kicked off a civil war, the Russians are paranoid about invasion from the West so why should they trust the lying EU or American warmongers like Mc Cain and Co.

You make a good point. During the Second World War, Russia was threatened with annihilation by Germany. After the war, Russia established a string of 'buffer states' between its homeland and West Europe. Having once experienced an invasion of its land almost to the doors of its capital city, I can understand them wishing to do all they could to prevent a repeat performance.

I'm not saying that Russia is necessarily right and The West is necessarily wrong. I believe they are both frightened of each other! There are always two sides to a coin.

I am not pro or anti Russian myself, i am looking at it from a position of self interest or maybe a better term would be self preservation as should all the ordinary folk of this country, because one thing is for sure the forces who are driving these conflicts care nothing for the innocents from all sides who get caught up in the crossfire.

Which is why we should keep out of this Ukraine business.

In fact, we should learn to keep our noses out of all conflicts that do not directly affect us.
