Unhappy with tiling job

Im currently have someone in doing a tiling job, to say im not happy is an understatement.

Some of the tiles have chips, the one corner tile by the window has cut marks where he has overcut. Some of the tiles arenot cut straight and looks like someone has taken big bites out of them.

Where the shower is (mixer tap) he has just cut a big hole, god knows how he is going to fill the bit inbetween.

He has started grouting but some of the spacers he has left in are sticking through the grout!

He has gone for today but is meant to be coming back tomorrow to finish off!

What should i say...?

Tell him its a crap job, tell him to fix all the problems and refuse to pay until they are corrected?

Definatley hold on to your money until the job has been completed to your liking,if he values his reputation he will fix the problems.Is he a tiler by trade?
Did you ask about references or a portfolio?
How much are you paying and for what sort of sq meterage?
If someone offers a too good to be true price then they will cut corners to try and still make a profit.
