Unusual exterior door sizes...help?

Hi there,

Urgently needing to get a new back door. The frame is in good condition and the door is only needing changing for the sake of looking nicer than the horrible thing thats in now.

Its an old house and so nothing is straight,even,level etc..however the frame and door are, but are just really small. Im 6 foot and need to duck to go through.

The measurements are height- 70" and width 27".

THe smallest door for example at wickes is 78" x 30". Cutting off 8" x 3" would look stupid and wreck the door. Im sure custom built is expensive.

So what do i do for a nice door that will either fit or can be cut.. yet not hugely expensive as budget is tight for the renovations?

Those two are rarely compatible.

i meant the whole house is being renovated, the budget is fine..i just meant specifically for a new back door. Im not completely new to renovating houses, just never dealt with a back door like this and unsure what my options are..

Could try salvage yards i guess

What about custom places, joiners shops etc.. approx costs?

Any other ideas?
