Hi, I have recently attained my unvented hot water systems certification, I am aware of all installation requirements however I am a little unclear as to whether I need to leave the customer with any sort of installation certificate. When I passed all I received was an ID card and a document of competence.Do ineed to get some sort of installation record book from somewhere?

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Most cylinders come with the Benchmark either stuck on the unit or with the paperwork. That needs to be completed and left on site.

In addition you need to be registered with one of the notification organisations, Gas Safe, APHC, NAPIT etc. and to notify them who will issue a Certificate and advise the Builing Control. Presumably CORGI still do notifications too but I have not heard that commented on.
