Upgrade mitre gauge for DW745 table saw?

I have recently purchased the DeWalt DW745 table saw with stand. So far very impressed for what I need it is perfect, looks well made, easily portable and not too big.

One problem though the Mitre gauge is sh*te! There is far too much play in the table t slots and no spring loaded friction adjustment etc

Axminster have a gauge for about £50-60 which I am considering but would like a recomendation from someone who has upgrade on this saw if possible.
