Im looking to improve the security on rear doors.Just bought the house so i think it the original lock.I am aware that some locks can be easily broke and doors can be lifted.Any advice ?
 
Most locks are easily bashable even the new ones. Whats the door like? hinges, panel etc. Take a pic
 
I'd suggest a good night latch as well as existing lock or call a 'local' locksmith , he'll sort you out
