Upgrading my underfloor heating stats White Rodgers

I haven't seen one of those for a while. However, I seem to think that they have a current rating of something like 20 to 30A, as I seem to remember that they are capable of switching a relatively high electrical load directly. Most thermostats such as the Digistat have much lower rated contacts as they are designed for boiler control and won't cope with such high currents.

If you can find out what the current rating is of the existing thermostat, that would help. It ought to be written on it somewhere, maybe inside the lid, or on the back. Ideally knowing what the actual load of the electric heating would be ideal.
