What is the best way to adhere these to the wall are there any adhesive what are good for this job or will any grab adhesive like evo stick do the job ?

sorry upstands for worktops is silicone and hot melt the stuff for the job ?

Grab adhesive is fine. Hot melt will cool too quickly on a long run.
