Hi I've had to adjust the door due to the heat and I've noticed why it might have dropped, the screw from the hinge to the frame looks loose, and probably why were having to light the door to shut.

How do I go about tightening this?

The top is too tight, and I've had to adjust it almost to the max to shut the door without it catching

The reason its pulled out and will continue to pull out is because the door has swung open so far the hinge has hit the brickwork corner and the force has pulled the screws through the plastic

The door can't hit the brickwork it doesn't open that far, but yes I'd imagine it's from being opened to far with force.

Is it a case of taking off the top caps and lifting? I can't see any grub screws

The top hinge has a mark on it which corresponds with the brickwork so it's definitely opened far enough to hit at one point.

So the hinge is a early MK1 style Trojan patriot flag hinge, you will probably need to lift the hinge up 10mm, open up the hinged front on the top hinge and remove the screws and slide the hinge up, then pull the hinge pin out allowing access to the screw cover caps, pop them off and at this point you could try and tighten up the screws on the frame, in not you'll need to reposition this part up a little

I think the mark is from previous attempts at altering the door, when the covers off it hits the brickwork.

I've noticed the paints chipping off so I'm wondering if I can paint it with some hammerite.

So if I remove the screws, lift up the hinge.. Hopefully it's not to difficult. I'll have a look at it tomorrow appreciate the help.
