upvc door lockcase dilemma

hi i am replacing the centre lock of my door lock (multipoint) and i have a bit of a silly dilemma, is a latch with hook better for security than a latch with deadbolt. i know its only the lockcase but i want to make sure my door is as safe as possible.

im going to buy it from these guys http://www.upvclocksandhandles.com/door/lockcases.html?manufacturer=169 who i used to buy new window handles and were good.

im swapping from the 35mm two spindle lockmaster latch and deadbolt to the hook version

The fact that its a PVC door/frame (assumed on the frame?) the box keepers are normally recessed into the frame leg, this limits any re-positioning should that be a necessity, that's something you might need to consider...pinenot
