UPVC Window gaps internal

Hi,

I have taken this window back to masonry to retile.

Original windows were late 90's build and They were added in.

Its got some lovely gaps.

Do I remove the damp sheet and foam in all around this gap?

Do i do this with the bottom as it will need 40mm of tilebacker. I can see why the original sill had abput this in plasterboard adhesive!

Is Soudal PU adhesive foam suitable as ive gpt 3/4 of a tin left!

the excess overhanging vertical dpc can be trimmed a bit then foam as you say. The foam you’ve got is fine

I’d probably foam at the time of fixing the reveal boards and stick em on with the foam

Hello again 23vc, time to get foaming then!

Can tile backer be used as a reveal or do i need to purchase specific stuff for a window as im tiling over them.
