It's in a written document from the US and on their trade website. Or are you intentionally in denial to facts?

If we accept lower US standards and imports then our exports which are primarily to the EU for livestock will suffer as already foreign buyers have cancelled their orders for UK meat. Farming will suffer.

https://www.farminguk.com/news/Overseas-buyers-cancel-British-meat-orders-due-to-Brexit_51451.html

If we do not accept lower standards then we won't get the US trade deal so we will be back where we started but now our produce costs more due to tariffs. Farming will suffer.

Yet you still want Brexit to wreck the economy.

I see the NFU are campaigning for govermnent assurances that food and agricultural standards will be sacrosanct. They want the standards to be unbreakable so that US imports cant undercut UK production and force farmers to lower standards.

If we sign up to US terms, we will have no input and no vote on the rules that we have to follow.

Once we've resigned from the EU, we will have no input and no vote on the rules that we have to follow.

This is what Brexers call "taking back control."

There's nothing like a good bit of topical fake news.
And that was nothing like topical fake news.
It was so old hat, (even I remember it) it's been done before, probably many times, I suspect.

As usual, tranny retreats into infantile nonsense because he has nothing sensible to say.

he just likes to stoke the "Fear of Foreigners" fires among his buddies.

"Fake news" and "Project Fear of Foreigners" from a Brexer.

So no US Trade deal then.

Why can't our politicians take control and end this farce. Nothing good will come from this.

We can have a US trade deal, provided we give in to their demands. They won't give in to any of ours.

We will never have any voice in the US Congress.

Assume for one moment that we say yes to GM, yes to chlorinated chicken etc. Correctly labelled I can't see why a consumer is not free to choose. Like "80% chicken", chicken from holland, I can't imagine it being popular.

Assume for one moment people were given the facts about Brexit but rejected them for myths, wait on that's what happened.

https://www.cdc.gov/foodborneburden/attribution-image.html#foodborne-illnesses

https://www.sustainweb.org/news/feb18_US_foodpoisoning/

The US reports higher rates of illness from foodborne illness than in the UK. Annually, 14.7% (48m) of the US population suffer from an illness, versus 1.5% (1m) in the UK. This is nearly ten times the percentage of population.

The US Centre of Disease Control and Prevention reports around 380 deaths in the US each year attributed to foodborne salmonella poisoning. The most recent epidemiological lab data from Public Health England shows no deaths in England and Wales from salmonella between 2005 and 2015. Salmonella food poisoning is most commonly caused by consumption of contaminated food of animal origin, such as beef, chicken, milk, fish or eggs.

So factor in the extra cost to the NHS of dealing with food borne illnesses.

It's dumb beyond reason to lower food standards and anyone arguing that either doesn't know the facts or doesn't understand them.

This is interesting.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-47400641

Trump loses his battle and will now have to pay the legal costs of the Scottish Government.

Trump then tweets

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1101837499230498816

Very proud of perhaps the greatest golf course anywhere in the world. Also, furthers U.K. relationship!

What is he implying?

https://twitter.com/davidfrum/status/1102218594094473216

So this explains Trump's golf course tweet yesterday. He was threatening the UK government with harm to the US-UK relationship if he is forced to pay the Scottish government's legal costs in litigation Trump started & lost
