C4 Dispatches - US Pharma want us to pay more for Drugs in any trade deal

We will have to wait & see
Ah, so you believe in the cult of Brexit whilst ALL government and independent reports say we will be worse off?

can you or any remoaner state what further benefits we will receive if we stay in the eu, ?
The remain argument was based on not losing what we have...

However as for 'further benefits', then those new free trade agreements that we were to benefit from (which as part of the EU we negotiated) will be lost to the UK...

Will our payment's to the eu reduce
It's based on GNI...

But then I guess you are more concerned about where the 0.32% of our GDP goes rather than where the 99.68% percent goes?

will we never have to adopt the euro ?
Whether we would ever adopt the Euro is up to us...

What do you not understand about a legally binding opt out?

Can you back that up. I await the mountain of evidence.

Name the policies and the costs. This will be fun.
No, i won't give you policies and costs because any government budget is made up of loads of different spends.

But i can back it up with simple facts.

It is on public record that when labour left power they left a huge deficit and a letter stating 'there is no money left'.

They also left an economy in recession.

Hahahahaha

Your using that note, you know another chancellor left the same note, in the treasury its known as a parting joke. Reginald Maulding was the Tory Chancellor in 1965 who left a similar note.

Thats pathetic. You probably believe the moon is made of cheese.

You have nothing but a castle full of lies.

It is a simple fact that the tory led governments since 2010 have racked up more borrowing than all other UK governments - put together!
(they actually achieved that feat by 2015)

And it is a simple fact that public debt is now far higher than in 2010...

And it is a simple fact that borrowing is on the rise again, thus pushing public debt further up more quickly yet again despite austerity...

Next thing you'll be telling us is that the nasty party can be thought of as being good for the economy

But old mucker lower using your logic and blaming previous Gov since 1979 we have had 27yrs of Tory gov and 13 labour.

You actually run a business? Sure.

So apart from your claim of the no money left being a parting joke, is the fact that labour had run up a massive deficit in the good times when tax receipts were high and that they left the economy in recession a castle full of lies?

and it is also a fact that the tories usually inherit an economy in a mess and have to put things right. Labour spend money, the 'nasty' tories then have to wind that spending back to get things under control.

The next step of the cycle is that labour start offering to spend money after a period of austerity. The tories inevitably are less popular because they have to be the 'nasty party' so labour get back into power and so the cycle continues.

Legally binding doesn't hold much sway these days, or is December 5 years since the last election ?
If you're talking about 'legally binding' in the UK, then I'd have to agree with you...

However 'legally binding' in the EU is a different kettle of fish - it is much more robust!

That is the common belief, but it is actually not true, Conservatives have borrowed more overall.

What benefit is there in paying £27bn more for the same set of drugs?

That's nearly 4 times the cost of EU membership.

That needs to be put on a bus.
That's about £500 million a week. Boris and his quitlings were salivating at being £350 million a week better off leaving the EU, seems maths were never their strong suit.

United Nations figures show US companies have made billions of dollars by suing other governments nearly 130 times in the past 15 years under similar free-trade agreements.
Details of the cases are often secret, but notorious precedents include tobacco giant Philip Morris suing Australia and Uruguay for putting health warnings on cigarette packets."

Philip Morris lost the case against Australia. Any better examples or are they 'secret'?

Wait on so you have no evidence then.

So now Tories have run up a bigger deficit

Absolutely wrong.

The Gov can print it's own money so the idea of "no money left" is nonsensical and on top using open market operations the Gov can increase the money supply.

So you just showed that a) you would fail A Level economics and you run a business?

:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

The recession was caused by housing crisis starting off in the US. Now if you want to pin that on labour then you are a mad hatter. The banks were at fault.

Tax receipts have gone up and have been rising, so your argument that Labour wasted money when receipts were high then applys doubly for the current Tories.

You have no clue whatsoever how Gov accounts and the economy works.

Hint - don't compare it to your own simple idea of personal budgeting. (y)
