Using 8mm copper for water

I need to move my toilet back 20mm, and so i need to reroute the 15mm copper further into a recess. Instead could i use a length of 8mm copper for this section. it is bendy and i could position it into place without having to use lots of elbows etc.

the total length will be 30cm and it then moves on to feed the basin only.

I have used 10mm copper on a few toilets on high pressure mains cold water. 8mm would do too, but would take marginally longer to fill. Make sure you fit an isolatin valve to WRAS regulation.

thanks. is the isolation valve for the toilet itself as i already have one.
