Hi, I found these forums a couple of weeks ago and have been working my way through the posts, all very valuable information!
Question: I am having an engineered wood floor installed in my living room, and when I discussed this with the fitter originally we thought it was simply "oiled", and he recommended applying 2 coats of Osmo HardWaxOil or similar.
Now the supplier now tells me it is "UV Oiled" finish - is this any different?
A bit of work on Google seems to come up with "Yes, it is different - don't use any further oil" and "No, it is simply a method of curing the factory-applied oil faster".
Would appreciate some info from the experts here.
