V4700e gas valve issue

Hi, hopefully someone can help me!
Trying to re-light my boiler with the above gas valve. Everytime I press the green button to light I hold it down for up to 2 minutes but when I let go the light goes out? Any ideas? Thanks.

I could be caused by several different problems.

The advice would be to get a gas reg engineer.

Possibly, but forum rules dictate that we can't tell you as it would constitute giving gas advice, which is prohibited here for safety reasons as we don't want anyone doing DIY gas work

Perhaps if you give the boiler make/model we might be able to be more specific. There maybe an overheat device involved.
