vailant 618 system boiler question

hi could any one tell me what the water dial is ment to do on this boiler

Probably has no function.

It is a blank.....

unless you have a Vaillant VR65 wiring centre connected to a Vaillant uniSTOR.... in which case, it does control your stored HW temperature.

This is assuming;
- you have the above components all controlled from a VRT360 or VRC400 controller
- you fitter has connected the uniSTOR using the Vaillant thermistor lead

If you are missing any of these extra components your HW knob does sweet FA.

keep it turned all the way to the left, ohterwise you will get the tap symbol appearing and confuse you.
