I never know these ridiculous numbers, is this a turbomax? If so you need a small flat screwdriver to open them.
 
I have the same problem with those stupid names!

However, I always thought the 824/828 was the first Vaillant with a built in filling loop.

the turbomax has a brass filler located right of centre underneath, looks like a isolation valve and has a 1/4 turn from closed to open
and no tony the 824/8 were not the first to have internal filling loops.
