Vaillant Eco tec28 v G/Worm F/com30cx

I have just bought a vaillant Ecotec28 and the fitter tells me the Glow Work CX 30 has the same internal parts.Have I spent too much by buying the Vaillant-to be honest I still feel it will be money well-spent.

Any fitters noticed a similarity?
