Vaillant ecotec PCB replacement setting up thermostat

Hey all
I replaced the pcb on my vaillant ecotec boiler, it's working fine.
However the wall thermostat is not working with the new pcb unit. So when I turn the thermostat down it doesn't turn the boiler off.

See photos. Any help with how to get this working?

You need to remove the 24v link. PCB should have been replaced by a gas safe registered engineer and checked for safety afterwards.

The replacement was just reconnected like for like.

White plug marked on the PCB as 24v RT

Perhaps, but any new board comes with a link on those boilers

Hey CountryFan removing the white 24v RT worked. Now the boiler is turning on and off via the thermostat.
