Vaillant ecotec pro 28 turning off

Hello. Our boiler has stopped working. It's a Vaillant eco tec pro 28. The water went cold, then I filled the pressure up as that was the error on the screen. Now it won't turn on, every now and then it will turn on for 20 seconds then turn off when it starts to fire up. Could it be as simple as a gone fuse or does this indicate something else? The external thermostat has power. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like the newer type Vaillant with an indication that the pcb is failing or has failed. Not a diy job to replace.

Did it describe the error or was it just a error code, if so what was it?. You may have air in the boiler.

Cheers guys. I have called someone, they are coming tomorrow. It was either error 24 or 27. Its the typical low pressure error, it comes up with the pressure line flashing below minimum.
