Hi,

Thinking of a Vaillant ecoTEC937 in the kitchen. The wall its going on has a old shallow cupboard behind it approx 12" deep that has been plaster boarded over. My thoughts are to mount it on the original exterior wall behind this, is this acceptable or does it have to have its full depth protruding ?

Thanks for any help on this.

Co.

not a good idea. The whole thing needs to be protruding. You need access top and bottom right to the back of the unit.

Thanks, do you know if its just for installation you need top & bottom access right to the back or if its for future maintenance as well ?
