I’ve spent an fortune upgrading my heating to a Vaillant system boiler including a boiler protection kit which my understanding extends guarantee to 10 years however the installer did not include the boiler protection kit as part of the installation when activating the guarantee as they claim they get charged to do this.
In the online literature from Vaillant there is no mention of a charge other than the guarantee gets extended to 10 years when installed along side the kit and feel the installer is just trying it on, anyone here know if there is a charge associated to extend to 10 years?
