Vaillant Tap Symbol not showing - but we have hot water

My Vaillant ecotec (unvented system, not combi) does not show the tap symbol, which normally would mean there is not hot water.. however it does seem to be heating the water.

I installed hive 3 today, maybe this is related.. however it may have been doing this before, i never looked.

Im not too concerned as i have hot water, but I am a little confused.
Any advice would be wonderful.

The tap symbol would only display when running hot water through a sensor, which are generally found on Combi boilers. Yours being a system boiler would show the radiator symbol whet it’s heating or hot water being heated as it uses the same circuit, not a plate heat exchanger.
