Vaillant Turbo max plus 824E?

I'm not even sure that's the boiler model, Moved in a yr ago & now the boiler has packed up. No model number, manual, just Vaillant on the front & a piece of paper stuck to the side with 24 KW/ Turbo- Turbo Max Plus 824E wrote on it. The lcd lights up but try to do anything to get it running & everything shuts down. It has a centaur plus c27 series 2 ( horstmann) control panel downstairs & there is an eres 12CMF, 12 Litre, 5 bar external vessel fitted to it. The mains board fuse doesn't trip out.

Nothing, it's taking an hr or 2 left off to turn back on, then the lcd lights up & the control panel down stairs comes on. As soon as I try to do anything it shuts down again.
