Valiant ecotec pro 28 thermostat issues.

Hmm, boiler should show a demand as the 24v link is in. Can you press the top 2 buttons and check the status code, should be either S.30 or S.31.

Right, so that’s anti cycle mode. Are the valves open under the boiler? Didn’t the radiators get hot at any point?
Yes valves open and radiators get hot.

If I turn the temp up on the boiler for the radiators they get so hot you can not touch them.

The issue i have is that the thermostat does not activate the boiler for some reason.

Which takes me back to post #9. Try removing the 24v link and try it then. If it doesn’t work, likely the receiver is goosed.
