hiya, i just bought a flat with a valliant ecomax boiler, its been great until today when its showing F25 error and wont turn up when turned off and on again. i think i may need to refill it as the pressure is right down, but it is not on...

so, how do i refill? there doesn't appear to be any pipes for me to do this, there is a big flue pipe on top and then all the copper pipes at the bottom, i cant get the front off it and don't know what to do!! as i just bought it, ove no money to call someone out!! help!!

Look under the boiler, just behind the front panel should be a silver braided hose. Thats the filling loop, it will have a black lever at each end, turn these 90deg and fill boiler to 1bar. Make sure you turn off both levers again after.

I thought those levers came off and were stored in the kitchen drawer?

Once you have filled it press the button with the flame and cross going through it.

Will need a reset; my missus sometimes forgets that part, then shouts at me!

That is so funny, i was gonna say id got a leak i hadn't fixed.

cheers folks, i found the booklet in the end and got it sorted...its not good thinking you need a plumber out when you only have £1.40 in the bank...
