Valor flemenco unias Gas Fire

Hi There,

I have problem with my gas fire. It ignites when pushing the knob down, but as soon as you release it goes out? normally it has to be held for around ten seconds then released, then turned to the setting you want.

Any ideas anyone?

or get the pilot cleaned out

If its the original flamenco (about 15years old).. Holes in the fuel bed beside the pilot are quiet small and partially block, fuel bed needs removing and cleaned out so proper size flame is heating t/couple if pilot still goes out its the t,couple all of this needs doing by proper engineer as you will be breaking seal on glass front to do it.
