Hi, The mixing tap swivel in my bathroom sink has began to leak. Can anyone tell me if it's repairable or if it needs replaced. I attached a few photos. Is it possible to remove it from the top and add a new seal.

Does the water appear from around the edge of the circular bit ,or where the vertical bit meets the base ?

Possibly, but you'd need to know the make & model of the tap

I would have thought a rubber "O" ring round the spigot of the rotating spout is worn out. Often there is a tiny retaining screw round the back. Unless you know the name you would have to measure it and buy one to fit (plus a few spares). A little white silicone grease will help the deal and reduce wear. Some imported taps to not have a "spares" service, but major British makes such as Bristan are pretty good.

your spout looks quite big and heavy which might contribute to the wear.

I was hoping that but theres no screw and I tried pulling it off with no luck. I'm not sure of brand but my guess is it's some generic import crap.
