hi all. I've had a look around and can't seem to find an answer so a little advice would be good please.

we've had all the doors, frames, etc etc replaced through out the property.
everything has been satin varnish finished.

the problem we've noticed is that if a door is closed for a period of time, like over night or the office door is closed for a long period they seem to crack, when you open them as if the varnish was still wet and had dryed when the door was closed! obviously this is not the case but 12 plus months later I would not expect this to be an issue.

none of the doors stick or jam, and open/close freely just seem to stick all the time to the door stops. any ideas on how to stop it?
its really a pain it always wakes people and I'd love to sort it.

cheers in advance!

put a dab of vaseline on a rag or tissue, and rub it along the meeting surfaces of the door and frame or stop. No need to leave them greasy, just polished.
