Varying Water Temp

Hi All

On a WB240RSF what is it that monitors the water temp, as my water temp goes up n down like a yoyo during showers. Is it the sensor just above the pump that has this job?

Sounds like the H/W thermistors gone.

Is that the one above the pump on the pipe work or the one at the rear/bottom of the boiler behind the water-water exchange?
