Vaseline in hair disaster!

Oh my goodness! My daughter had head lice and someone told us to use vaseline to get it out! SO we saturated it down in vaseline overnight. We almost never got it out. We tried cornstarch, dawn dishwashing detergent, baking soda, you name it we did it. ALl day, nothing worked! I saw on this site someone said to try baby oil, then the dawn. Believe it or not, it worked! We soaked her hair in baby oir, squeezed most of it out, then it took about 2 washes with the dawn and her hair is squeeky clean!!!!

For future reference, the best way to deal with headlice is to use conditioner and a nit comb.
