If you want a go fixing it yourself, read on.
If your engine management light is still on, buy yourself a obd 2 reader (diagnostic reader), can buy one off fleabay cheaply. Great tool (I have one & came with fault codes), connect to your obd 2 port (diagnostic socket), under your handbrake lever (mk 4 Astra), looks like skart socket. Reader will then give you a code & you'll then know what part to change, if your not confident changing part, buy part & get a mechanic to change it
This reader can also clear fault codes.
