Vauxhall Corsa: synching central lockng

I have a Vauxhall Corsa (1999 16v 5 door model) and the boot is now excluded from the central locking system.

It happened when someone unlocked the boot manually, and ever since, central locking has not worked.

Does anyone know how I can rectify this myself?

have you tried turning the key the other way in the bootlock?
I know on the older golfs you could sort of double lock it, so may be the same.
Failing that, i'd say something has come off on the boot lock rather than it needing any resyncing with the keyfob

have you tried simply locking the boot lid with the key again? my 406 if the boot is locked by the key, it has to be unlocked by it to work with the C/L again
