vauxhall vectra 2.0 diesel 2005

please help my car is a non starter it was very low on diesel i started it up it ran for a couple of minutes then cut out i topped up with diesel but it just will not fire up

You probably have trapped air in the system, bleed it out by cracking open (until you get fuel out ) then closing the injectors in turn while someone else is turning the engine over.
